Factory colour?

Was looking on Kijiji (Canadian Gumtree) for no good reason as my Dad lives in Canada - shocked at the prices of Z4's out there!

Anyway - came across this E85 in a very unusual green: https://www.kijiji.ca/v-cars-trucks/calgary/03-bmw-z4/1487825562

Not sure if I hate the colour or actually like it - regardless it's unusual and I've never seen one that colour. Looks like factory paint judging by the engine bay/bonnet being un-lacquered as BMW do from factory. If not it's been a pricey full respray but no mention of the colour on the ad.

Anyone know if this was a factory option or what the colour is actually called?

Never seen that or even heard of it - thanks for the responses!

I actually think it's growing on me - considering doing an outlandish wrap in future on my coupe once I've modified it a bit more. I love a green car but never thought the Z4 would have suited it, this is giving me some bad ideas!

Does it come with plant pots in the cup holders? Personally I think its hideous.

Looking at the interior you should be looking at replacing the seats.

The exterior is absolutely honking. Probably the worst colour anyone could choose.

Best option is to look for another car!

After looking at those photos I think there is a very good reason why it is a rare colour!

It sort of looks like a colour that the military would request. :D

There was one for sale in that colour in my home town here in South Africa a few months ago.

I just love this colour. And it's getting popular too. Several BMW's have this colour from the individual program.

Not planning on buying it... I live in Scotland for a start :|

Actually really suits the M3 - looks better on the newer cars then the Z in my opinion - would have liked to see it on a coupe!

Will maybe photoshop mine & see how it looks - if I ever do a wrap I've considered green but would have to pick something a little different to that I think!

Yes I noticed your in god's country. If there was actually a god that is.

The problem with colours like this or any other "unusual" colour is when it comes to selling the car.

Knew someone that bought a 3 series in some awful colour and when trading it in the dealers where it was purchased they told them it would be worth less due to the colour they'd sold in the first place.

The customer is always right

The customer might always be right but sometimes the sales people should have a word!

The only thing that could improve the green machine above is a wood dash and caramel seats or a box of matches and some petrol!

The seller lists it as ‘AWD’, so not only is it rare by colour but also rarer still for allegedly having four wheel drive

The customer is always right (but sometimes needs saving from themselves)

The seller changes the oil every 2500km but can't be arsed to clean the engine bay, judging by the photo. :idunno:
