You have to put the prefacelift electronics in the post facelift box but otherwise fine

Yes, but not a plug and play mod.

You need to split your existing pre Facelift dials, remove the circuit board and fit it in the Facelift dials

Edit: as above :lol: easy enough to do, just don't break any of the circuit board, like I managed :headbang:

Without swapping the circuit boards? What year is your pre Facelift? If it's close to the changeover, that could be why.

Mine is an 03 and when I first installed the Facelift controls with the Facelift circuit board, certain functions wouldn't work, namely air con and heated rear window buttons.

Yes I've done it nearly 4 years ago now. They've been fine and look a bit classier

the X3 radio knobs they have a chrome ring around the tops, i had to adapt the right hand one a bit as i have the NAV.
