Facelift front??

Hey guys,

i know search is my friend and all but way too many results come up.

today i was offered a facelift bumber for £25 that needs a spray, mine does anyway hence the question. how easy/what implications are there to fitting a facelift front bumper to a pre-facelift car?

i know i would need fog etc but does the ectual fitting of it require any modification to lights/bumper etc etc

As you say you need foglights, but other than that I believe it's just a straight swap.

Straight swap. Even the new foglights use the same connector.
The only mod is sometimes the front lip needs different fixing points drilling in the undertray, but that's 5 min. job.

Biggest decision is really if you prefer the pre or post facelift.

Don't forget to ask if the bottom mesh grill is with the bumper. You'll need this too.

- also (sorry if stating the obvious) check that it's right for you in the 'headlamp washer dept' :wink:

cheers guys. the guy i just bought a headlight off just lives down the road and he often gets bmw parts in sells them cheap.

i will be going to have a look at it to have a look at all the parts, i dont even think he has seen it yet. you never know i might score for a M bumper mmmmmmmm but probably not
