What, so you can lift your feet off the pedals and coast along?

Those seats can be repaired to look as new again.

The large hole looks quite big so will need a patch behind and then you'd need to put a leather patch on top. I have some oregon leather in black I can send on.

Then use some heavy filler to fill any gaps and sand it down. Would be best to sand it down smooth so you lose the leather grain but would look like a patch wasn't even there then.

It does look like there is a hole on the other edge as well and the stitching may be worn through. Its hard to tell.

For any stitch work use a sailrite speedy stitcher and get the #4 fine needle which doesn't come with the speedy in the pack.

You would need to remove the leather cover to do the stitching.

You are indeed the Yoda of Leather Repair, Usel

If you remove the leather cover and feel confident once done so then remove the passenger seat cover also and swap them over. Then future wear will be done on opposite bolsters and will give the repair less abuse.
There will be an indentation where the seat belt holder goes but with some steam and on a different day some heat you could remove 80% of it. Do this before painting them.

Just heard back from the guy. Somebody got there and took them while I was talking to him on Facebook trying to arrange pickup :(
Ce la vie.

Are you after some black M-Sport seats? I have almost finished refurbing a manual black heated set. Just need to change the rails to a slightly better less rusted set.
