F10 M5

I've had 2 F10 company cars, but only in lowly 520d engine guise, due to being company cars & requiring tax efficient engines. Last few weeks I've been seeing M5s a little more & toying with selling the Z to have one as a daily drive. The noise is just epic, and for £40k it seems a good mix of power, pace and practicality.

Work moves offices at the end of the year to be 10 miles away vs current 30, so mpg is not a concern.

Love to have both, but 2 M cars feels excessive. Perhaps the 5 should become a 535i?

Am I mad?

Care to elaborate?

Let me gues....your answer is 'nope'

I know it's a barge & and having had two before, know it is far too big for just the two of us & the back seats would rarely get used...but something just so appealing about them :headbang:

You know the answer, 2 M cars is never excessive :)

You can never have too many cars …

Very true & demonstrated well by yourself.

The wife's new (to us) E89 parked next to my MR, suddenly makes mine look very old.

Never thought it did when driving past others, but on the drive I'm gobsmacked.

arghh these new owners...... come in all love struck then off again after a few months :-P

i sat in a classic porsche the other day, resto modded...... to me, no modern vehicle with all the bells and whistles will "feel" like that, and give those kind of heart aching want levels... the e89 next to my ///M wouldn't even make me look twice, the e85/6 //M is just a different kettle of fish...
