F***ing Neighbours

And that's not actually a swer word up there^ just blanked it out for effect, although I am a bit peeved with them...

The blanked out word is actually "Feeding"

And it's birds that are being fed... By my neighbours on both sides :headbang:

Its not something that has ever really bothered me before but I guess one of them must have changed the formulation of whatever they are feeding the damn things because came out this morning and my car was covered in bird crap.

Went out to take a photo and couldn't handle it so ended up cleaning it off before I got my camera out but still not happy :x

Also noticed yesterday on four separate occasions birds flying into my windows so must be connected, they've gone mental shitting everywhere and trying to suicide against my double glazing

Anyway rant over, I'm off to look at air rifles

I have a number of those to prevent crows attacking my windows, even though they are very expensive, they don't actually work ... (and they drive you mad).

That's no attitude to have, if we killed everything that annoyed us PVR wouldn't have lasted beyond 10 posts on here, and then look at what we'd all be missing..... :fingertap:

Had this issue with a neighbour. Using fishing line above perching sites in the garden kept the birds away from where they were making a mess . . . how much for a sparrow hawk model?

How much looking after does an kestrel take

You laugh. But that's exactly what we use in the dockyard to keep the sea gulls away. Tried all sorts of mechanical rubbish and electronic bird scarers over the years. All a total waste of space. Last few years we have a Falconer walking around the yard, with his Falcon on his wrist. The Gulls cr#p themselves, well they do that any way, but more importantly there have been far less nesting on the site, since the Falcon came to the site.

So not a bad idea at all.

A cat would be simpler though.

This fine lady actually a falcon, was on duty today and had a few moments free to pose for a Photo before proceeding to scare the cr#p out of the local gulls.

I have the same issue, it's a complete PITA.

I've tried the usual stuff, a giant fishing pole with a falcoln kite attached, a model of an owl, spinny shiny things, electronic gadgets.. Nothing seems to work.

I even paid £300 to have a tree cut down... Now they all sit (and s*it) on my roof and of course they cr*p on take-off..
