EXTRA CONNECTORS UNDER STEERING COULING?

How's everyone doing?

After reading a great write-up on here about retro-fitting cruise control on Z4 pre-2004 models i decided to have a look to see if there was the wiring harness under the steering couling for this on my 03'. However whilst in there i noticed there was 2 different connectors, therefor my question is:

What are the 2 connectors for under the steering couling? (1 is obviously for cruise control)

Thanks for any help with this.

I only had one spare connector, but I do remember that it is bundled wil some other wires.... cant remember where they went though  could they be MFSW?

From the drivers view the one that falls easily to the left of the column is cruise control to the right (probably a black plug) is as stated for the MFSW. It should be 2 wires and goes to the LCM controls all the radio, phone, etc as fitted.

Exact year makes a big difference as they discontinued some of these harness parts after the first couple of years so having it makes life easy for retrofitting

Right, this is where i act really stupid.....

What is meant by MFSW and what is the LCM controls? Also is this worth fitting?

Thanks again, i'm not usually this dumb!

I think MFSW is - multi function steering wheel

MFSW = Multi Function Steering Wheel
LCM = Dunno but probably linked - cj10jeeper will be along shortly im sure!

Worth doing - I like my steering wheel controls and are very useful :)

MFSW - got that one guys. Generally it refers to those wheels with radio, phone buttons etc. Some people seem to explicitly mention paddles as separate part of the wheel.

You really need this if you go for bluetooth so you can control the call from the wheel and not twiddling radio buttons

LCM - Light Control Module
It's a great big unit hiding behind the headlight switch

EDIT
Having looked at the MFSW (you know that one now) retrofit guide it refers to the LCM variously as the Light module and light switch centre
