Extended leather door cards/ window trims

Guys

I’m still struggling to locate extended leather door cards and windows trims or centre console parts for Sensible money.

For my ee85 colour not important.
Willing to travel and collect.

If anyone can help that’s would be great

I take it you’ve seen the pair on eBay but definitely not sensible money!

I doubt you'll get the parts for sensible money unless you find someone selling them who doesn't know what they have or you find a breaker with the parts you need.

I have a pair of the extended leather sunvisors in the shed and that's all I have found in over 2 years of looking. I did find some extended leather door cards once but they were collection only and came with the seats but were too far away. It was still around £250 to buy the seats and the door cards. Seats were non-sport but still had a value of £150ish.

I have seen cars for sale with the extended leather but to find the parts offered on their own they are either expensive or you stumble across them by accident.

Maz has had quite a few sets for sale over the years but it'll cost you £700+ from him for the window surround and the door cards.

Centre console and the behind seat parts covered in leather are very hard to source.

I offered £210 for window trims and no joy. No pair of door cards should be over &300, I’ve seen them for 250 before it’s just waiting for them.

Here's a car with FULL extended leather. Likely the roll hoops are too but hard to tell because of the gimp wind deflector. The centre console is leather.

Buy the car, sell the seats, steering wheel and piano black trims.

Remove the trim you want.

Buy replacements parts for the bits you removed and, as its a 2.5i, you'll likely get £1500 for it without a struggle.

With the profit get someone to paint the leather the colour you want it.

Yes it does. Stitching is slightly different but the leather should be Nappa.

Mine is indeed nappa in the M, you will miss the M logo in the headrest as individual (as this is) will not have that.

If someone wants extended leather then it's a cheap way to get it and there would still be a decent Zed to sell on afterwards and some money in your pocket.

To get the FULL extended leather you'd be lucky to find it all under £1k.

Now I have got you on the line so to speak Usel :lol: , how can I make the base of my champagne seats not shiny anymore? I have tried leather cleaner but it seems that the base is just “flattened” I guess.
