Anyone been on one of these tours? Just booked for me and the wife. If as good as the reviews on FB then should be great.

Not been on one so can't help I'm afraid. What car have you booked though?
Can't remember what they were called but there used to be one ran out of Livingston, think the owner or person running it was on PH. A few years ago now me & one of my mates from uni said we'd do this for our 30th birthdays - hire some fast car(s) and go touring. Over the years though he got an Elise & I got the Z4 which meant the type of car we'd have to hire for it to be special went increasingly up in value! The idea of doing it in our own cars means it's never happened - one of those things that ends up as a "we'll do that someday" and then you never do.

It's 3 hours driving from Lochearnhead to Oban and back in 5 different cars i.e. You get about half hour driving each one with changeover time in between. The cars are a 500bhp rally prepared Focus, Ferrari F430 Spider F1, 911 Carrera 2S Aero Kit, 911 Turbo (997) and an Aston Martin DB9 Volante. When I saw the focus listed I was a wee bit disappointed but the reviews of the focus from people who've done the tour are very good, with a lot of people actually saying it was their favourite!
I've seen these guys driving on these roads a few times this year. Seen them the weekend we met up in Oban in fact. They always seem to be driving in a convoy at a pretty sedate pace but then I suppose that's to be expected.
I doubt very much it would float my boat to be honest but they say, Variety is the spice of life .

This will be the best money you have ever spent as I went on the 5 hour experience today and it was fantastic the guy that owns it steve he is a good guy and you will get to see what supercar power is and you wont be dissapointed and the aeriel atom is mental and is bugatti veyron fast 
Excellent. Good to hear that. My bro in law has an atom so have been a passenger but haven't driven it. CoupeChief, check out the Scotland forum on Pistonheads - a few folk on there have been on these tours and I've yet to see a negative remark about them. Apparently they've been known to actively encourage "spirited" driving, i.e. you won't be forced to potter around at granny pace. But I guess that depends on how they see your driving...
