Exhaust upgrades

So some of you may be aware, yesterday my Exhaust bracket broke and the BMW fix is to replace the whole system (backbox) at a cost of £800+.

If my bracket cant be welded, I will upgrade.

I've had a look online to see who makes 'off the shelf' systems for the FL E85 / E86 and which custom manufacturers come recommended.

The list so far - please comment if you have experience of any below or can recommend other makes / manufacturers.

Off The Shelf
------------------------
Eisenmann
Remus
KKS
Supersprint (can only see LHD versions listed)

Custom
-----------------------
Pipeworx
Blueflame
Cobra Sport

I don't want to spend much more than £500 so I guess that eliminates the 'off the shelf' systems straight away.

Any bracket should be able to be welded back or new one made for next to nothing though.
Which bracket is broke?

Its the one nearest the passanger side rear wheel.

I think it should be fixable.

I'm in a similar position in terms of buying, although my current exhaust isn't broken...

Might be worth considering - do any of these cause problems for emissions tests? Also which are better when alerting insurance (may vary with companies but I'm with admiral)

Sorry for smallish thread jacking but I think it is somewhat relevant and might help your decision...
