Exhaust on 3.0si

Hi guys , i was wondering what would be a good exhaust for the 3.0si, right now ive come down to two which are Eisenmann Race and Supersprint(with y-pipes)

was thinking of getting the supersprint, seems like a more complete set rather then just a muffler box. But is the sound volume very soft? have heard many people saying supersprint is one of the quieter exhaust.
Anyone have supersprint on their z4? care to share any advise on it?

im looking for an exhaust which is relativly loud, somewhat like eisenmann race and hopefully a little gain in hp :|

Hi and welcome. I cannot comment about the exhausts you have mentioned, but i had a Remus catback system fitted to mine. It gave more of a deep fruitier sound than the stock system.

Sounds nice, I'm thinking of fitting a sport cat back exhaust but don't want it too loud for motorway trips, is it quite boomy or quite civilised at motorway speeds? Also any idea if you loose any bhp as I think the standard exhaust is pretty optimal for power?

It has more of a boom than the stock system when loaded up, but i found it perfectly acceptable.
Funny you should mention if it had an affect on bhp, as i felt it took a slight edge off the cars performance, but i cant say for sure as i didnt get it dyno'd.

if you just change the backboxes, there shouldn't be much affect on power, i mean maybe the slightest decrease in back pressure, but I think it would be worth it. Been thinking of custom quad conversion for a while, but still cant decide if it's worth it

Plan A.
im looking to get a customized exhaust catback. Looking to do a "straight thru"
is it very loud?
any cons on such a setup?

Plan B.
would be to do a catback with a normal muffler but removing the second resonator on the connecting pipe..

Any advise guys?
