I was reunited over Easter with my old 2.8 Z3 and realised how much nicer the engine note is on tickover and low revs compared to that of my Z4. The burble from the exhaust is, in mind, to die for.
The Z3 is fitted with tail pipes which my Z4 doesn't have. Would the fitment of those on the Z4 make the difference and if so does anyone have any recommendation for what to go for?
I did the Sound Generator mod a while back which improves things no end in the cockpit whilst under acceleration, but it would be nice if it was a bit more sporty sounding on the outside!
