I’m new to the forum and wondered if anyone could help?
I have a 2.0 2005 Z4 and it has developed both an exhaust blow and knocking. I’ve taken the car to a trustworthy garage and they have been unable to find any loose gaskets etc. on the exhaust. They did seem to think that it could be coming from the Cat and although not obviously leaking the cat may need replacing, something loose inside!? Also a nocking has developed which is prominent under foot when driving. I have had the anti-roll bar links replaced and apparently the previously owner recently has the front arms replaced. Again the garage has look over it and cannot see anything obvious. When I am parallel parking and the steering is on full lock there seems to be a banging noise as well which I think is linked.
If anybody has any suggestions or opinions to what the problems are they would be greatly received
