:D Hi all, :D

New member clocking in to say hello!

Am picking my grey 05 plate 3.0 on saturday, am a tad excited!! Sold my elise last week, was sad to see it go, but don't think the Zed wil be a bad replacement. The only thing I couldnt get in on the deal which I will be looking for is elipsoid alloys, the 108's on there are in good shape but I do prefer the elipsoids, anyone know of a descent source at a descent price? or has a set they want to sell?

From some of the comments on here it looks like its going to be an interesting one finding out the mpg comparrison between the elise and the Z4 as the elise did between 28 and 40 (with 40 being the best I could get out of it driving carefully).

Welcome :thumbsup: at a steady 80-85 got 33mpg and if you drive like grandma you can get 38mpg is what ive been told.

Still itching to pick it up!! and take it out for a good long run. just hope its descent weather on the weekend (not rain) to get the old roof down and listen to the V6!!

must be a ringer or something if it has a V6 in it :poke:
 
:? Oops my bad (numpty) shows how much I know about engines! thought a V6 was what you call a 6 cyclinder generally which after some quick wiki'ing I now understand. What I should have said was "straight-six" appologies!! :? I'll get there one day!!
