I recently purchased my M and now going over her from top to bottom. Taking her to Tim Spicer in Cambs who comes highly recommended ( when allowed out ) for a full check over.
Booked in for a full body work over and detail.
Now getting to the ‘subject headline’
Are ‘Evolve’ back boxes worth a look?
They appear extremely good value just would appreciate if anyone has these as to your thoughts B05ADEF4-1BFB-4E56-AA02-89D4FA3302C8.jpeg on look and sound. Thanks

Hello Nedoth

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your Z4 M Coupe!!!

I understand the "evolve" exhaust is in fact a Supersprint (available in "normal" or "Racing" specs). There are tons of videos on YouTube to get an idea of their sound. I am also sure there are a few comments on this site about people's experience with them. A search is bound to return a good few hits.

Hope this helps
Attilio

Thank you for your kind welcome.
I’ll take a look on ‘YouTube’. I have noticed a couple of threads regarding exhausts so I’ll see where they lead me.

Welcome to the forum OP.

My MC came with Powerflow back boxes already fitted, and I'm really pleased with them although I have no idea what they cost a previous owner!

Good luck finding some you like.

Evolve exhaust systems are made by Supersprint.

Personally I would rather a Supersprint or an Eisenmann exhaust system on my car than an Evolve system.

Many thanks. I’ll take a look at Power flow.
I assume you’re happy with the sound and look?

Yes very happy with the sound and the look, now I've removed the tips and polished up the tail-pipes a bit!

I would consider checking out the BCS exhaust, Nigel and co are great guys which helps a lot with the process. There is a very slight drone at 1,800rpm, if you're pushing on this is never an issue.

I have just ordered some eisenmann race boxes from crest automotive via the m3 cutters deal. Got a good price really I don’t think I could get them any cheaper.

I saw that deal and was extremely tempted myself. Either those or the supersprint race....or possibly the rpi just for the 'full retard' effect.... I can never decide, so I end up doing nothing

Supersprints back boxes are sleeved from memory?
