My MC came fitted with a carbon eventuri air box thing. I prefer my cars to be standard so I am likely to restore the standard box on it over the winter. Three questions - is it easy to remove; will I miss it; and does anyone want to buy it. It has done 500 miles max and won’t be used again as the car is off the road. Thanks

Is it the full on airbox or just the induction kit one, like a cone filter?

If you enjoy induction noise then I think you’d miss it. Fit the standard airbox and see how you feel before selling it. It will sell quickly and values aren’t going anywhere so there’s no rush to get rid imo.

Ahh okay thank you Andy. I did notice that above 3000 rpm it made a hell of a race car type induction noise!

They are about 900 usd new so you will get good money for it. I have one. For me it really adds to the s54 experience. Especially in tye roadster.

Thanks Sajk. I am new to the car so I am learning what I want from it. If the noise is good (and it seems to be from inside) and it’s not shouty outside then that’s a good result.
