Evening All

Welcome buddy!

Cant help you with your questions but..

Your motor looks cracking and the interior looks fab! Haven't seen that colour combo before! :camera:

Hi and welcome,
you have a great car there - the 3.0si with the N52 engine is a dream - well done.
Must be really enjoynig it to be returning 16 mpg! Like the other 3.0si owners are saying that average will greatly improve once you have settled down. :driving:

Thanks again all
I always let the car warm up for a good 15 minutes before planting the throttle and on short runs i was probably a tad heavy right footed once warm for the first few weeks I am regularly getting mid 20’s now and did one run up to work (50 miles away) and got high twenty’s, it’s just such an additive noise.
I have a 320ED for the daily drive that manages 720miles on a tank (60 to 65mpg) so the Z helps me get my need for a good hoon around out of my system :D

Marlon your new car is stunning BTW

Thanks Mahoney :D

If you have the restraint you can get well into the 30's mpg on a long run.
But its not about the mpg is it, these cars are built to be driven 'enthusiastically' aren't they :driving:

Welcome nice looking zed. Very impressive with 16 mpg. Haven't managed to get mine that low yet :driving:

You should have got the M - mine is showing 24 mpg on mixed driving - goes up to 28 mpg on a a run.

I can only suggest that you start driving without shoes on! :poke:

Evening :-) would have loved to find a M but all the ones I looked at where ether priced to sell by Fagin or over my budget I bought the Si on a punt price in Scotland bought it sight unseen with a RAC inspection(RAC inspections should be taken with a BIG pinch of salt) :-) In fairness the RAC inspection was a bargaining tool only. I got the car I wanted, understanding what was coming my way at a price I though was fair but needed work. I have replaced all the bit's I mentioned above plus a B12 springs and shocks kit from Germany. for this year that's all good. next years kit list is Diff and props for good measure and proper look at bodywork, but in all honestly I am in love with the experience of the Z, the other half has a M 135 which is awesome but I can keep up most of the time :-) and give her a bit of a shock on the really tight roads. (Stone Chips) best quote I have so far is 100 pounds a panel got some work to be done next week will report back.
