I don’t have a pre facelift, but if the bulbs are monitored then they will. Easy test, unplug bulb and see if you get a warning. If so then need Carly or ncs to code out the check. Worth the hassle for LED vs bulb imho

Thanks for the link - do you know if that would throw up any error codes?
The fog is checked and carly doesn't give you the option on the fog to code it out. I asked carly to add it and basically got a response of "the E85 is a really old car now and we prioritise the newer stuff so won't be doing anything with your request" talk about customer service! 😂

I've got the 4 white spots rear lights on mine and I've got some extra bright canbus leds in white in mine from halfords. I use the fog as an extra reversing light when needed. I never really use mine as a fog but if I did its a quick switch to the red bulb. When I start mine the fog flashes faintly about 10 times which is the light unit doing its self testing to make sure everything works. On non led bulbs there isn't enough current sent to light the bulb so you never see it flash, but obviously leds are different and there's just enough to make it work faintly

Thanks for the info - I've ordered the LED bulbs now :?

I have INPA up and running, can that disable the fog light monitoring perhaps?

Nope but if you can manage to install INPA then NCS (and ncs dummy) is easy and can do everything available.

Cheers - completed using NCS today, little bit daunting for a first timer but very easy come the end.

Disabled cold and hot monitoring for the rear fog, dash warning has gone away. Result :)

What were the lines of code you changed? I need to have a go at this myself.

If using ncs ecpert/dummy, just grab the 'ALSZ' module trace file in NCS expert and load into NCS dummy, find the hot/cold monitoring settings for the rear fogs (both say 'left' fogs :)), change both from enabled to disabled, export the settings file, then code back to the car in ncs expert.

Sounds like gibberish until you've done it, but literally took 30 mins including slowly following the guide:
