Not sure why but I have not found as many car shows over here in America as you have in the UK. I enjoy watching your shows as it opens my eyes to all the makes, models that we don't have over here or never had. Regardless of their age or history enjoy the experience of learning about them. Now admit if they were left hand drive and over here not sure I would have owned many of them. Still working on getting over the initial shock of seeing them driving on the other side of the road to us.!!!! Expect to see a head on crash when first seeing car on the road when shows start.!!!! But all aside learning a lot and enjoying the education.

Wrong side of the road ? You must be mistaken.
Glad your enjoying british motoring heratige,i enjoy some of the American car shows but most seem to become more reality shows than car shows the longer they run.
Chasing classic cars perhaps the only exception

Theres two american shows that are still education to us brits... Roadkill, and Fast 'n' Loud.

a few things still surprise me - firstly, that a lot of americans have so much space, they have old cars just dotted around the scenery, in massive garages, under trees, in bushes... and the amount of spare parts some americans have. Completely unheard of over here, mostly because no one has any space to store anything, and also because we dont have enough money to just have cars sitting there unused, they'd be sold for scrap.

and secondly, the fact that a car can live, uncovered, in a desert for 20 years and still be fine. guess thats what a very very dry climate does for you, any car left outside here for any length of time would just turn to rust. remarkable that you can have a car from the 1960s that can generally be made to run with just so minimal tinkering.
