HI Guys, my car is on its way...got a week or so to wait yet but im doing a bit of travelling with work so the time is flying...i have a question.
the car has 'enhanced bluetooth'....but i dont know what this means.....under the central armrest it seems there is a USB, 2.5 analogue input and another interface which i assume i can get a cable for to connect to my phone.......but i dont think ny of those are about bluetooth...so can anybody give me a link or explain the difference. my car is on 59 plate.

On my MINI enhanced bluetooth allows music streaming from an iPhone/android and it also has capability for the snap-in to house the phone and charge it etc. (snap in extra)

As I understand it:
Your phone will work via Bluetooth for calls as soon as you are in range of the car.
If you want to play music you need to connect either the USB cable to your phone or use the snap in cradle.
The snap on cradles are phone-specific and bring the benefit of improved aerial connections.

ah thanks guys...its a bit infuriating when you've bought a new car and your waiting for it (private plate change is causing the delay)...hope the weather improves here in the UK too before i pick it up!!!

Had the same problem with my Evoque with the plate change! DVLA seem to have made a simple process more difficult! The dealer said they put the plates on retention now so as not to delay the delivery of the car then they call you back in to change the plates when it's gone through. Mine took nearly 2 weeks! Years ago this used to take me 20 min at my local center!

I've got enhanced bluetooth on my car but no USB socket. Does anyone know whether if I but the snap in cable with USB support, I will be able to stream music? I see there are two cradle types online...
