I have recently purchased an 03 plate Z4 3.0i, I have had repeated issues when starting from cold the revs very slightly blip momentarily and then the light activates. The vehicle is under warranty and is currently at a dealership but they appear non the wiser! So far they have fitted a new starter motor and spark plugs and the injectors have been cleaned, also the coil packs have been eliminated as a problem. I have been assured by the independent dealership that the engine is fine, but they are struggling as this is an intermittent fault. Has anyone any ideas PLEASE!!!!!
