So the engine light came on this morning just as I was pulling into work. No noticeable difference in the way the engine was running and the light was still there on the way home tonight.
Hooked it up to inpa and pulled codes p114b and p2196
Here's a couple of photos from inpa

Going to have a chat with my garage at the weekend, but in the meantime has anyone seen these codes before and how does the adaption mixture shot of inpa look?

Cheers

Sorry but I can't offer any suggestions but I do want to ask if maybe I could get a copy of your MSS70 IPO INPA data files as mine are all in German!

Mine is mostly all German too. I've tried the roll back to get it in English but it doesn't work for me.

Anyway if there is some files you still want from me, then let me know where I find them and you can have a copy.

Oh now that I look more closely I can see. I still think you've got a little more English than I have, but probably not enough to screw around with. There is a fabled English translation out there but I've never been able to find it. I've considered manually translating the MSS70.IPO file myself too

Have you changed the brand/grade of fuel?

If so then reset and all should be OK.

If not then still reset and see if it comes back. I had Bank 1, S1 fail in October, but also had to reset back in April when it triggered because I had to use 95 unleaded instead of 98/99

Turns out that the pre cat sensor on bank one is on its way out.

Has anyone fitted the Bosch sensor Eurocarparts list?

I used the Bosch catalogue to find the equivalent part number for my N52 and got the sensor from Amazon. As long as its the right one then happy days?

Went down that sort of route in the end. Found the sensor listed on car parts 4 less, then called them to confirm the Bosch part number which matched the Bosch website recommended sensor part number.

Just under £70 and on it's way to me now

A few of us have ordered from here for future reference.

I did check them out, but they are more expensive.

I used them as a couple of members had and recommended. Quick deliver to and genuine Bosch parts, which some aren't apparently.

Price check against ECP, I got a couple from there Bosch. Get it done asap.

I did that and even with extra £1.99 for 48hr delivery carparts4less were still £10 cheaper.....strange when you know that they are basically the same company as ECP.

Anyway despite me only paying for the 48hr delivery the sensor arrived this morning which is less than 24 hours from placing the order :D
