Engine Bay Sound Proof

Guys bought my 2005 Z4 a couple of weeks ago just noticed that there was no sound proofing on the inside of engine bay on the bonnet lid it was someone who brought it to my attention today! just wondering if anybody recommends getting one and even if there is one available for this car in the first place

Yeah theres no need for it. On cold days, you should notice a lot of steam lifting away from the bonnet. You will also notice a heat haze sometimes. It is pretty cool to see.
