Enable indicators as sidelights

Hi,

I seen a lot of pics Z4 E85 running orange sidelight as daylight lights, and i read if its posible to enable trought coding. What is the code to enable this?
 
I done this by mistake took my sidelights out and they went on although the light bulb warning light is on constantly eventually put them back in for MOT time and just left them in.
 
Expect your going to need NCS or DIS or some other form of computer wizardry to get it to work, however i think you are right in saying it can be done.

Yes, i have NCS and cable, but how to do? Thanks
 
It's in the LCM, I think something called "sidemarkers" and you select the USA option.
 
When you scan the car with NCS Expert, the Light Control Module (LCM) will appear on the list of modules you can read. Select it and go from there.

To me all that does it turns a facelift car into a pre facelift by keeping the indicators on all the time? Seems a little pointless.
