Emmisions warning light and very rough engine

Help! I just returned from a 200mile run to the beach and back. I was almost home when the emissions warning light came on, and the car lost power. It is an 08 Z4 2.0 with 76k. It was services recently, and has been running well all day. However, I did run the engine fast on the way home and revved it well a few times overtaking.

Any help on problem is appreciated!

Could.be many things, anything anyone suggests is a guess. You need to read the fault code and then ask again.
Either pay someone, call your breakdown provider or buy a cable and read yourself. Your own cable is the best bet in the long run and most cost effective.
