EML keeps coming on but goes of if i restart the engine

hi every now and then the EML light will come on the dashboard, i have a 54plate 2.2se roadster no odd noises no problems while driving (apart from this one) has done 32000 miles have no idea. usually happens when cold and gets less frequent when warm. every time it happens i turn of the ignition and the start the engine again and it goes once warm never realy happens again.

Also tends to happen more just after ive filled it with petrol and when im going round sharp corners.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Also do the little diagnostic tools work that are for sale on fleabay

any chance it could be the lambda clogged up or does it sound more sinister
