Hi all, readings below if anyone bothered or can translate for me?
engine speed-2500-3000 CO 0.20 0.05 Pass
HC 200 3 Pass
LAMBDA 0.97 1.03 1.001 Pass
Idle test CO 0.30 0.00 Pass

I would appreciate it if anyone could tell from the above readings if anything is borderline?-thanks

Hi Andy,

They all look good, I guess the CO 0.20 is the max and it's only 0.05, HC max 200 3=pass and lambda 0.97-1.03 yours is 1.001 so passes

What mileage is on yours and is was the "Light" on when he did this ?

Hi Andy,

They all look good, I guess the CO 0.20 is the max and it's only 0.5, HC max 200 3=pass(seems too low ??) and lambda 0.97-1.03 yours is 1.001 so passes

What mileage is on yours and is was the "Light" on when he did this ?

Hi, zed has just over 44,000 on it and light was off.
 
I take it Andy, that's the MOT readout. Looks fine to me especially the word 'PASS'. :wink:

Now drive the damn thing, stop worrying, get the revs up and enjoy it.

I edited out "seems too low" refering to the HC I was talking through my arse, was thinking about a non Cat car I had 10 years ago :headbang:

Now you have a good reference point...If the light comes on again take it for another test and compare If it's more or less the same (and a pass) then you know it's a spurious warning light that you have :)

Phew -cheers for the edit-you had me worried there! :)
 
Low HC would be good anyway,, but just seemed too good, but as i said it's got a Cat. so it's doing it's job really well !
