Emergency brake hazard lights?

Do these cars turn hazards on under hard braking like other bmw models? Its a safety feature among other models
 
it does everything under hard braking.

I had the miss fortune of just about being involved in a pile up.

Idiots in front of me came to a complete stop in the outside lane of a dual carriage way. Even with at least a six second breaking distance i stopped about half a meter away from the car in front.

I can only assume the light show it put on the back end stopped a van from ploughing into the back of me!!

Pretty sure under harsh breaking it flashes fogs hazards and makes all sorts of noises in the cabin! Sounds like a stalling aircraft.

Needless to say im still very bitter about the whole affair...
Hence the drawn out response...
