Hi all, new member here from Yorkshire here.

I am still toying between a Z4 3.0si and a Porsche 986 3.2s.

Now I know you are all bias lol but what are the pros in favour of the Z4 please?

Not sure about the Porsche, but at a guess I would say the Z4 would cost you less over time.

I used to have a 3.0SE and it was great to drive... proper go-cart feeling around corners... of course you want to make sure you ditch the run-flats first :)
 
I am migrating from a mk3 mr2 as a reward for not having the annual mid life crisis I have had 5 years in a row.

Is the Z4 as go karty?

Never driven an MR2 so can't comment on that, but the 3.0 engine in the lightweight Z4 made it feel quite nippy... could quite easily throw out the back end around corners.
 
Less go karty than something like an MX5, but if you go for a 3.0, you won't be regretting the lack of straight line shove...
 
Zed is going to cost less to run and be more fun IMHO. Plus a massive bonus is you get to chat to a bunch of very fine nutters on this Forum. :D
