Hi all, about a week ago my wipers wouldn't work when i went to give the screen a once over wipe (luckily it wasn't raining at the time) and it turned out that my central locking, remote boot release and auto air blower control had all gone at the same time and the alarm siren kept making an intermittent high pitched droning noise. All of these had been working fine when i set off so the wipers not working was the first of the problems that I noticed and only noticed the rest when i stopped and tried to open the boot and lock the car.
Had an auto-electrician have a look and it turned out to a blown 5amp fuse. He suspected the car alarm siren had caused a short as it was in the wheel arch and may have allowed moisture in so he disconnected it and put a new fuse in.
Been on holiday for a week and the first time i drove it was on my first day back at work when it blew again (and this time it was raining like a monsoon).
Any ideas what it cold be?
Also, the business radio doesn't seem to have an aux input when going through the menu even though i have a cable for my phone in the glovebox. Again, any ideas what I can do about the radio?
