I've come accross a couple of connections i'm unsure of when i've had my car apart...
looking at the panel under the dash, in the drivers footwell above the drivers feet there's the round item with lots of smaller holes in it. could be a mutilpin connector or temp sensor etc. not looked at it and considered what it is... i really should have done as not knowing makes me sound stupid but anyway)
once the panel is removed removed you can see the back of the connector. and i've found a wire unplugged and has been taped up...
Should this be connected into the socket? there is a place for it. What's it's purpose? is this something the dealer would know to install for certain higher level softwear interfacing?
second queston.
inside the passenger door i found another connector taped up. what'sthis for? could it be folding mirrors or mid range audio system speakers that mine doesn't have? Wires into the back of the blue 2 pin connector are blue/red and blue/brown
