Hello all,
Well traced my seat lumbar etc control to a dead air pump.
Part number is
52107213759 Lumbar support pump
Around £300 from BMW and its literally little more than a creen washer pump.
Had one quote from a breaker for £552!!!!
Dont suppose anyone has a sport electric seat or the pump loafing around anywhere?
Failing that does anyone know a specialist Z4 breaker or of any vehicles being broken?

I cant find a used one anywhere...

Thanks guys n gals

Mark

Could it be worth stripping the pump down and seeing if you can replace any internal components?
I managed to fix it with a spare part i made on my 3D printer!
The raised hole you can see on top of the pump is where the outlet pipe flange was, it snapped off flush with the pump.
Internally its very complex, a 4 chamber pump with a microthin rubber valve plate directly beneath the top cap.
I printed a 1 mm thick plate to match the 4 screw holes and the flange hole, the printed plate also had the missing outlet flange printed on as well of course.
Then took the screws out, a smear of exterior flexible sealant, new plate on the top and screws in - FIXED.
Chuffed to bits with myself, cost around 50p maximum
