electric seat

my passenger seat does not tilt forward or back - I can hear motor going but no movement ! seat travels allright forwards and backwards on the rail. Drivers seat functions fine. It seems to be stuck at quite an angle leaning back - is there a way of adjusting it manually ?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately there is no way to adjust the sear manually. It sounds to me like one of the gears in the motor has gone. Is actually quite an easy fix.

Thanks for the info - I guesssed may be it was this - the thread is really useful on how to repair.
