I was playing about today with my key!! Sound a bit strange but I was pressing all of the buttons as I wanted to find out what the alarm sounded like. When holding the unlock button my roof came down to my surprise. Is this normal ? I've not found a combination of key presses to make it go back up. Does anyone know what this is?
 
Tried every possible combination to get it to go up with no luck :(

Is it standard for the hood to go done when you hold the unlock button?
 
Press and hold the unlock button to open is a standard configuration option.

You can also get a Gaptech for the E85 which allows a few more options. To see if the previous owner has installed a gaptech you could try:

from the key fob ;
Unlock, Unlock, Unlock (with about second delay between each press) to Open the roof
Unlock Unlock, Lock (same delay between presses) to Close the roof.

I believe the E85 hood only goes down from the key fob as an OEM configuration, you have to raise it normally with the console button, unless you have an aftermarket module.
 
Mine works like this: Press once to unlock the driver's side door. Press a second time to unlock the passenger's side door. Press and hold a third time and the roof goes down.
 
It should operate up and down, with mine i turn key one way it goes down turn key the other way and it goes up ...simmples :roll:
 
Roof will go down when you hold the unlock button on your key, but you need it coded to close when holding lock (which doesn't put the windows up anyway).
 
GAPTEC lets it go up and down without holding the unlock or button from the key or the buttons inside. When locking it locks the car, puts the roof and windows up.

Great bit of kit and a dawdle to fit.
