Electric gremlins

Please advice I have just got a 2005 2.5 sc bought it with problems eg no power to roof windows don't drop when button pressed indicators work but no lights on dash to let you know they are on same with hazard lights . Main beam don't work but side lights do had a auto election out and got charged £50 for him to tell me what I already new any advise would be welcome
