Thats what I thought too. However, I cannot think of a reason I'd possibly want to be able to fold/unfold them from the keyfob for - the button works well enough for me. Does anyone know how much difference it actually makes to the width of the car though? I've always wondered but never measured - folding them when parked on the street is done more because I can than that I think they'll really make a huge difference if a bus or whatever passes too close.
Personally if I was to expend any effort trying to improve the stock offering it'd be around trying to make the nearside mirror dip automatically when reversing, but hey thats just me.
