Eibachs and insurance

Had the Eibach springs fitted last week and happy with the result :D althogh the front near side brake calliper stuck on 2 days later so haven't really given them a proper test :( . However, I was insured with Swiftcover who simpy refused to insure the care with any suspension mods and refunded the unused portion of my policy. I have now gone to Admiral who with their multicar policy have actually come out cheaper with the lowered springs not only covered but replaced at Eibachs and not returned to stock in the event of a claim. So, anyone with lowered springs looking for insurance and needing to insure more that 1 car might be worth giving them a ring.

You sure they will replace them? With mine Admiral said they were fine with the modifications but if it came to a claim or I wrote off the car it would come with the standard suspension and they wouldn't pay out for the modification. After a lot of research on here, most people are in the same boat.

My premium didn't go up either.
