I fitted a pair of steel wheels to my Eunos that were about ET30 with 28mm spacers to push the wheel out further, the effect on the steering wasn't great, bumps would force the steering left or right and the steering was very heavy, although it didn't get out of hand it wasn't great, eventually I replaced them with a set of zero offset Bullet's, again steel, I'm not sure if it was the effect of reduced unsprung weight but it completely changed, 2mm less offset, but the car tracked straight, lighter steering and I didn't have to fight it everytime the wheel hit a bump.
Now I know the two cars a very different, and my Eunos was the best part of 300kg lighter but I'd like to know if spacers have a detrimental on the Z's steering, mine already gets my attention far more than it should and I really wouldn't want to make it worse than it already is.
