Eddie Jordan

So he owned a mediocre F1 team in the 90's, now a BBC F1 pundit. Where does all his money come from? :o
Not so mediocre - it gave Michael Schumacher his first run [1991] in F1 [for which EJ was paid], MS was then 'stolen' by Benetton [for which EJ was paid  ] and in 1998 they had a one, two at Spa with Damon Hill & Ralf Schumacher.

The team then became Midlands F1, then Spyker, and is now Force India.

EJ is a wheeler-dealer..... a bit like a certain BE

Long may he scare us with his shirts :D

Good bloke ( even with his syrup )

Outspoken , entertaining , unafraid to say what we're all thinking :D

Loved the old team with Jake , David & Eddie - like Suzie but for different reasons

I'm not knocking the bloke, hat off to him. But he wasn't an overall winner of the championship only won a handful of races, obviously a magician when it comes to money

I've been lucky enough to see this boat, it was moored up at Poole quay a few days ago, to quote an overused word the boat looks awesome.

Sunseeker are a big employer here in Poole so hats off to EJ, just a shame that Sunseeker are now owned by the Chinese.

Just a snippet of useless info, Robert Braithwaite - one of the founders of Sunseeker (with his brother) drove a boat in a the Bond movie Quantum of Solace.

Doesn't really surprise me... owning an F1 day back in the glory days of pre-recession sponsorship from the banks, tobacco companies etc. must surely have been very lucrative even if it was only ever a fairly mid-table team. I'm sure Bernie helped to ensure that Eddie never paid more tax than was strictly necessary either.
