Eddie Jordan...

The only chap worth listening to in my opinion is Martin Brundell

His grid walks are unbeatable, as is his wealth of past and current (technical and non technical) knowledge.

Although I'm still somewhat blown away by his rumored £500,000 Sky salary :o

Not as polished as they were on the BBC and sometimes contain some cringe worthy moments. The last season of the BBC having sole rights with Martin and DC on the commentary and Jake on anchor was the best for me.

Peanuts money for Sky to pay, as you point out, to have the best.
 
I'm not sure the BBC team would be better off without Eddie, but he shouldn't be allowed to do the driver interviews or grid walk, and they should beat him down a bit more so he doesn't feel like he can interject with a bunch of directionless waffle whenever he wants. There was one post-race interview where he went up to Alonso and just shouted "Fernandooooo Alonsooooo" right in his face, obscuring him from the crowd, and then proceeded to clap with the mic in his hand so you coud just hear "thud thud thud" over the PA. Cringetastic.
 
Brundle is good, but I don't think he stands out from the crowd anymore ability-wise like he used to.

DC's grid walks have been pretty good from what I've seen and Gary Anderson is the best "technical" pundit although Ted Kravitz isn't bad, but he's never been in a senior position within a team like Anderson has.

Brundle is very good at presenting things from the drivers point of view though.
 
I'm waiting to see if, when JB gives up driving he moves to presentation or team management.

I quite like Anthony Davidson as well. And Crofty is just so natural.

Can anyone suggest a non driver who might be a good presenter. A celebrity maybe, Rowan Atkinson? Eddie Izzard would be very funny.

Brundles " straight to the scene of the accident" comment is hilarious and worth whatever they pay him.

But the BBC not having key races on Live on TV still has me fuming. I dont need 3 practices, qual and the race in Canada, I want Monaco ........

I thought Canada was a more interesting race to watch than Monaco. You can always stream them live off the Internet, quick google search
 
it was a more interesting race, well other than first place, which never seemed in much doubt - I have had no success looking for live streaming, can you share a url?

Agreed - I miss Brundle..wish I had sky.
