Stumbled accross fhis vid on youtube. Bit of a q&a with ex Wheeler Dealers spanner monkey Ed China.
Was fairly entertaining up to the point where he answered the question about whether he would consider returning to WD and it struck me that for someone who is where he is today thanks to WD has a rather conceited and ungrateful disregard for the people/programme that got him started in the first place!
I know there's bad blood between him and Mike Brewer re the direction WD took by moving to the states and focusing more on the deal rather than the dirty spannery bits but slagging off your own past achievements is only going to make you look like a prize tosser imo.

Didn't exactly slag it off Chris, basically saying he's got the Tee shirt, other things to do now.

How do you know what goes on in my gaff John. Oh wait, I was wondering who the drone with the camera attached to it that ended up in my garden belonged to!

I think ever since the new production team has meddled with the formula I can't be bothered to watch it anymore.
I always didnt like the US based episodes as much as the British ones but now its a complete meaningless show.
It's not that I don't like Ant, but he explains things like the viewer is a 4-year-old.
At least Edd explained things like we're 6-year-olds. :roll:

The original formula that a person could actually buy a sort-of classic, do it up a bit and pass it along has long gone imho.

I wonder if Edd's idea of helping people out on doing up cars will work.
Mark Evans already did something like that and I thought his episodes were probably better that that one off Edd China did.
(and I dont think that Mark Evans series was a succes)

I suppose it was Brewer, I know the programme was staged, but Mike didn't really do that much hard graft.

I have a little experience of Brewer having worked in motor journalism circles in the past. I wouldn't want to say exactly what I think of him, but let's just say I'm on Team China :D :thumbsup:
 
Bit unfair to call him a twat. There’s a lot gone on, and said by both parties.and quite rightly who would want to go back.
