EBC Brake Upgrade! w/pics

So i took advantage of my long weekend and got some free time to install my stuff. Here are some pics of Saturday and Sunday. I did the front rotors and pads on Saturday and the SS lines, rear rotors/pads and paint on sunday. Washed her and took her for a spin and she feels great! Best part is the brake (O) light being gone Ill post some with the wheels on tomorrow. Enjoy

will go for EBC too next time... I only have drilled on the fronts as the rears did not fit and I was lazy to return them...

Do post to say how noisy they are. I fitted the Ultimax as I understand the EBC slotted and dimpled are fairly noisy. Even the 'silent' Ultimax drone.

I drove the car last night for a bit just to make sure i would have no issues coming to work this morning and everything feels great! The lines made a great difference. Solid pedal feel :driving:

CJ, as far as the noise goes, they are quite noisy with the windows down but im sure they'll quiet down a bit after they break in. Its a nice sound though, Its not loud enough to be anoying but its loud enough for you to know their there So far im happy.

I have them fitted front and rear on mine with yellowstuff pads. Not noticed anu noise or excessive dust. Stopping power is significantly improved but my OEM discs and pads were ropey.
Whole lot (EBC GAD discs and YS pads) came to £203 =£6 shipping and they through in loads of stickers and patches!
Thought that was a bargain and direct from EBC

PS Oh the fitting kit from BMW was a bit pricey but I couldnt bring myself to fit the ropey old retaning springs back on!

Sure the noise will drop after bedding in - just curious if they were audible and clearly they are. Not to everyone's taste but I'm happy with the purposeful 'drone' at certain braking efforts

I'm looking at placing an order for New Discs and Pads all around. I have been putting it off for a few months now but my Alps road trip is approaching fast...

I was going to go for:

The best price for that little lot on my 3.0 Z4R is £402.55
