EBC Bluestuff NDX

I've just ordered a full set of EBC Bluestuff NDX for my AP Calipers, around a third of the total price compared to the Pagid RS29s I'm using at present. Anyone else using them? I'm certain they won't be as good as the Pagids, but I can afford to lose some braking power and sharpness as the APs are almost too good on the road!

I moved up to them from the Yellowstuffs I was using. Didn't have any issues with them for over 4 years, but have now moved up to the Orangestuff as I'll be doing less road miles and more track miles.

The Orangestuff do require a longer/proper bedding in process and have a bit of a soft pedal feel, but they just get better as they get hotter.

I like Pagid RS29, but find them expensive and don't seem to last as long as the EBC Blue/Orange.

I am on my second set now. 1st time round they were excellent and held up round Knockhill (which is very hard on brakes) very well. They lasted for ages too but I noticed when I took them off the material had started to crumble in places. I then put on RS29s and these, as you know, are incredible. I still have the RS29s but I'm keeping them purely for trackdays so I have put another set of Bluestuff NDX all round back on. For the money you pay for them, they are superb but don't expect RS29 levels of braking power and duration on track with them.

Well the RS29's literally are racing pads so they'd better perform better! But of course so much more expensive. The crumbling material mentioned is worrying though, i've seen it mentioned elsewhere about EBC pads too... :(

Thanks Easty, are you using APs all round too?

I will report back how I find the pads and if I experience any crumbling. :?

I've been using Bluestuff for years and find them excellent on the track and pretty good on the road (they need a little heat in them to be effective). My ///M was largely a track car for 2014-15 and they certainly stood up to the punishment I inflicted on them.
Previously, I've used Yellowstuff and found they would crumble if they overheated. Strangely, they were less effective than Bluestuff both when cold (road use) and hot.

Unfortunately no APs. Just standard calipers. I am using Castrol SRF fluid though - which makes a huge difference. Only problem is, it's expensive and needs changed very regularly.
