Introd myself a couple of months back and back this time with a problem! Hoping someone can help.
love my pre facelift e89 23i (yes i know its not the fast one or the e86) but theres a weird whining sound thats making me nervous.
Ive uploaded a vid here. The vid loops the sound 3x then shows some left foot braking to sustain the sound.
It only seemed to do it in second gear but im now hearing it in first.
It’s only audible under low load, and as best i can tell isnt affecting performance.
Does anyone know the likely culprit?
