Hi all,
I've had a music import issue for the past 2 months on my 59 plate E89. Whenever I seem to connect a USB stick in the glove box and go to the music import area, the iDrive is showing 'please connect USB device to interface in glove box". I never used to experience this issue until 2 months ago.
I've tried 3 USBs now (8GB & 2x 4GB), all formatted as FAT32 as per other forum posts I've seen. I've tried NTFS and FAT but no luck with that either.
I'm certain the USB slot isn't damaged - there's no play in the socket and I can charge other devices using the same port with a cable.
It's worth mentioning this model doesn't have the USB in the armrest.
Any ideas on a fix for this? I'm getting a bit fed up with the same 2 albums on here!
