After fitting rayz4's 326's my OEM BMW "Style 294" V-Spoke split-rim 18" staggered alloy wheels with Bridgestone Potenza run-flat tyres are now available and will be listed on ebay tonight from 9:30. All four wheels were professionally refurbished due to minor cosmetic kerbing last summer, followed by new tyres on the rears in October 2012. Refurbishing took a week, with wheels being split into two by removal of bolts, and full respray of outer faces of both elements, then re-assembled and re-balanced. Since then they have been religiously cleaned every week, come rain or shine.
Approximate tread depths are as follows (mm): Front Right 5-5-5; Front Left 4-4-3; Rear Right 6-6-6; Rear Left 6-6-6.
One rear (shown on the ebay pics) has a very minor scratch right on the rim where the tyre fitters scraped the paint :headbang: - I have tried unsuccessfully to photograph this as it is so minor and so close to the tyre.
These are a great upgrade from 17" or offer a slightly more compliant ride than 19's.
I've no idea what they're worth so have started the listing at £650 and have reserved the right to sell elsewhere so open to sensible offers from Forum members and will see how things run for the next week or so. Ideally I'd like north of £850. Payment will need to be cash or paypal and buyer will need to collect or arrange their own courier. I can e-mail pics direct if needed.
I am in Northampton, by J15 so anyone coming to the Zed Fest/Silverstone Classic could come and collect them then, although obviously not in a Z4!
