e89 seats into a e85 - anybody done it ?

I have just acquired a pair of e89 seats at great personal expense ( the wife is gonna kill me )
has anybody done it ? whats involved - is it doable ?

Could I ask how much an where from, did you get normal e89 seats or sports seats

Hi, here’s a couple of pics showing some shared components and also differences in body dimensions.
The e89 has a larger cabin but the seats may fit in the smaller e85 as the later car has a wider centre consul.

I’d say as you’ve already got them then just swap one out. You’ll soon see if it fits or not.

Is it do-able if you graft on the e85 runners to the e89 seats? Or is there not enough room for the seats no matter what? :?

Anything fits, you just need a big enough hammer :lol:
I’m sure with a bit of work it could be made to fit? Custom rails or something? Or does it physically not fit?
