E89 extended lighting

Has anyone retro-fit the extended lighting option ?
Think Zed five was going to have a go a few months ago havent heard anything since :?

It's included on mine but have read people trying to retro fit it, none that I know have succeeded as it requires quite a bit of missing wiring in addition to the lamps etc

Got it on the wifes E90 and love it but for some reason it didnt cross my mind when i specced up mine
