E89 bonnet wont pop up

Can you get someone to push down on the bonnet while you pull the release?
 
When I went to view my first E86 the seller couldn't get the bonnet open!

The release worked as normal and released the two front catches, but the safety catch in the centre was seized up. I managed to get my finger-tips under the front of the bonnet and with a bit of faffing about we got it open enough to squirt some WD40 onto the pivot on the safety catch. After a while that finally released too.
 
As mentioned above, it's a two person job if it's stuck (unless you have arms like Mr Tickle).
Chances are one, or maybe both, of the pins are gummed up and sticking.
 
Mr tidy …. Thanks for replying i got the AA out lol he pushed on the bonnet i pulled the release handle it opened it got stiff as needed lots of lubrication 🤣 its fixed down ive just got to make sure i spray some stuff on it
