Very true! The basic system can be fairly easily upgraded for very little cost (circa 600 to 700 quid) with great results, as I did to mine. As mentioned elsewhere at this asking price I wouldn't worry about the sound system. Shame I am not in the UK otherwise I would seriously consider it.

I will miss her so much, I don't believe there is an affordable equivalent out there that gives as much joy as the 35iS
Comments on here made me question my sanity. A special thanks to Andy.
I called a couple of "performance car dealers" on Tuesday and asked for their best price by 4pm
One snapped at the chance and collected the car yesterday afternoon at £1.5k more than I was offering to forum members
Sorry it did not go to "one of us", I don't suppose I should care, but it would have been nice to know it was going to be as well looked after.

I know you’d have liked it to stay on the forum, and hopefully it’ll return, but £1,500 isn’t an insignificant amount of money and at the end of the day it’s what works for you that’s important

Congrats on the sale and as Andy has said, you have to do what is best for you financially and £1,500 is a lump towards the next car for certain.

Someone missed out on a really good deal here. It will be ironic if this car comes back to the forum, the new owner having paid £5k more to a dealer than they could have got it on here for. I’m pleased you got a good price in the end OP.

So part of me wants it to go to a forum member, because the car deserves it. Yes, it was a great opportunity for someone on here, the chance is gone but the car is worth so much more.

I’ll keep my eyes open and let you know when it is back on the market
